Are you ready for a night of great food and wine? We have invited the wonderful Galvan Family Winery this month – and their wines are exquisite!
We just put the finishing touches on a special four-course menu that pairs perfectly with our wine selections.
You’ll want to sign up for this event! We won’t be having an Hambre Club dinner in July – (see below for a link to our special July event) so to make this one count, we’ve prepared something exceptional just for you.
1st Course – To Start:
2017 Sauvignon Blanc, Russo Family Vineyard, Green Valley
A creamy yet light Sauvignon Blanc, aged for 8 months in oak barrels. This is a favorite among top reviewers – a wine you could easily sip all afternoon with a friend.
- Fresh Mango Tostada, with creamy avocado, purple micro-cilantro and a touch of jalapeño
2nd Course – Small Bite
2014 Viejo Red, Green Valley
An elegant red blend from vines dating back to 1948, this ultra-smooth, balanced red comprised of 74% Zinfandel, 21% Petite Sirah, and 5% Sangiovese is rich and ripe. Notes of plum and raspberry are apparent as you sip and savor.
- Blue Corn Dobladitas with Camarones (tender fresh shrimp), melt-in-your-mouth Queso Fundido and smoky Chorizo.
3rd Course – Entreé
2015 Malbec, Mt. Vaca
From an elevation of almost 3,000 feet, this vineyard produces a Malbec with layers of luscious flavor. Aged in 100% New French Oak, this is a robust red worthy of a hearty main course.
- Pork Adobo – Pork slow cooked in a citrus and chile negro sauce until fork tender. You’ll want to get every last bit of this flavorful sauce, so we’re serving it with fluffy white rice.
4th Course – Dessert
2012 Late Harvest Dolcetto, Green Valley
Harvested at 36 brix, this exquisite dessert wine was aged in new French Oak for 12 full months. Pleasingly sweet, it has flavors of dark and red fruits and a hint of black pepper. Perfect for a luscious chocolate berry dessert, it will have you swooning in pleasure.
- Rich Chocolate Mousse topped with Fresh, Juicy Summer Berries.
Hambre Club Members pay only $35 (and as always, may purchase 3 seats and get the 4th free). General public $45. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Vegan option available, of course.
